The service
WOFF2 Font Preview is a free browser utility for rendering and inspecting supported font files. The site may show custom text, mapped glyphs, variation axes, metadata, font tables, OpenType feature tags, technical embedding flags, and example CSS.
Font processing is designed to occur on your device. We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
You are responsible for font rights
You keep any rights you have in files selected on your device. You represent that you have a lawful basis to possess and inspect each font you choose.
- Do not use the tool to violate copyright, license terms, or access controls.
- Do not assume that a technical embedding flag grants legal permission.
- Check the actual end-user or webfont license before hosting, converting, subsetting, sharing, or publishing a font.
- The generated CSS is not a license and does not change the font owner's terms.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for lawful personal, design, development, testing, and professional work. You may not:
- interfere with the site, its hosting, or other visitors;
- attempt to introduce malicious code or exploit a vulnerability;
- automate abusive traffic or bypass reasonable technical limits;
- misrepresent this site or its outputs as legal, licensing, accessibility, or conformance certification;
- use the site in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
Accuracy, glyphs, and browser compatibility
The tool reads what supported libraries and the current browser can interpret. Font data may be missing, malformed, unusual, or unsupported. Results can differ from a desktop font editor, operating system, design application, or production browser.
The glyph grid focuses on Unicode-mapped characters. A font may contain internal, alternate, ligature, color, or substitution-only glyphs without direct Unicode mappings. These may not appear in the grid even when the font can use them through shaping or OpenType features.
Metadata, license records, designer names, and embedding flags are supplied by the font file and may be absent or inaccurate. Validate important decisions with the original foundry, license document, and professional font tooling.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and compatibility.
We do not promise uninterrupted availability, that every valid font will load, or that outputs will match every target browser or design application.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WOFF2 Font Preview and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities; font licensing disputes; or decisions made from tool output.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use this site in the previous twelve months or USD $10. Because the site is currently free, that amount will generally be USD $10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Third-party services and open-source software
The site relies on Cloudflare for delivery, Google Analytics for measurement, and open-source software including Fontkit. Third-party services and packages have their own terms and licenses.
Changes and severability
We may update these terms. The effective date identifies the current version. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
